I told my husband that I wanted a clothesline so I could hang my laundry out to dry and he searched high and low for the most perfect one. I was not being picky about it, I just love the way laundry smells when it has been hung to dry outside; not to mention that it saves on the energy bill because we are not having to run the dryer. My husband doesn’t care either way, he just had to do research and find the different types of clotheslines and find the one that works best for what we need. I like having the lines between two posts, but the circular freestanding clothesline is nice, too. Hanging the laundry also gets me outdoors more. Once I am outside and realize what a beautiful day it is, I find myself finding more excuses to go outdoors or take the kids outside. Who knew that hanging laundry on the clothesline would be good for getting me to enjoy being outside?
